Hiring Now – DCF Administrator
Part-Time Forestry Administrator
One to two days per week – 8 to 16 hours
Location: The DCF Office located at the Dunster Schoolhouse
Wage: TBD
Duties:
- Provide clerical and administrative support for day-to-day operations.
- Organizing and maintaining contracts and files
- Process, verify and reconcile invoices and monitor expenses.
- Monitor and manage accounts receivable and billing, following up with any outstanding payments.
- Perform administrative tasks such as filing, scanning, photocopying, and ordering supplies.
- Handle phone calls and emails in a timely manner.
- Work with BC Government online applications; eTaxBC and Harvest Billing System.
- Handle public information requests.
- Manage/maintain DCFS Website (experience with WordPress an asset)
- Manage subscriptions/licenses – Protonmail, Starlink, Ooma.
- Manage BC Society and Corporate filings and annual reports
- Create and publish online the DCF Newsletter
- Public announcements (ie meetings etc) via Facebook, Pete’s List, Website, Email
- Performs grant writing and reporting for the community forest but also other community organizations.
- Performs project management on the implementation of grant projects.
- Report to the General Manager as well as the DCFS Board.
- Attend monthly DCFS Board of Director Meetings.
