The Dunster Community Forest Society is an organization that manages a land-based Community Forest tenure in Dunster, B.C. It has been running since 2005.
The Community Forest has a mandate to undertake forestry activities from harvest through silviculture and is responsible for all aspects of forest management within its area. The purpose of the Society is to create jobs and encourage rural growth and economy.
Also responsible for the upkeep of hiking trails, the members of the Dunster Community Forest Society keep busy throughout the year.
