GENERAL MEETING – June 19, 2025 @ 5 PM @ the Dunster Schoolhouse

A special resolution to amend the DCFS Bylaw 3.1 Area Restriction to align with the DCFS Policy on Memberships.

Where currently the Bylaw reads:

Bylaw 3.1. Area Restriction
• Voting membership is restricted to adult residents or land owners in the Dunster area, which
is defined as:
• To the north of the Fraser River, that portion of the Robson Valley lying between Nevin
(King) Creek and Small River, and
• To the south of the Fraser River, that portion of the Robson Valley lying between the
Raush River and Kiwa Creek.

DCFS Policy reads:

Membership
• Regular membership is open to any resident or land-owner in the Dunster area,
upon payment of the annual membership fee.
• The Dunster area is defined as that portion of the Robson Valley lying between
the Holmes (Beaver) River in the northwest, to the Small River in the southeast.

Proposed updated wording to Bylaw 3.1:

Voting membership is restricted to adult residents or land owners in the Dunster area, which
is defined as:
• To the north of the Fraser River, that portion of the Robson Valley lying between Holmes (Beaver) River and Small River, and
• To the south of the Fraser River, that portion of the Robson Valley lying between the
Raush River and Kiwa Creek.
