The Dunster Community Forest Society will hold its AGM on Thursday,
March 2, 2023, at 5:00 PM at the Dunster Schoolhouse.  The AGM for BRKH
Custom Woodworks Ltd., a corporation owned by the DCFS, will follow
immediately after the DCFS AGM.

There are two small changes to the Bylaws that need to be voted on by special resolution at this meeting:

Section 3.2, Paragraph 2

Original:

The Simpcw First Nation is granted a corporate membership in the Society, with the right to cast one vote at meetings and to have a director on the Board.

Proposed:

The local First Nations are granted a single corporate membership in the Society, with the right to cast one vote at meetings and to have a director on the Board.

Section 5, Paragraph 2

Original:

The Director from the Simpcw First Nation shall be chosen by the Simpcw First Nation, and has the same rights and responsibilities as any other Director.

Proposed:

The Director from the First Nations shall be chosen by the First Nations with an interest in the land base of the DCF, and has the same rights and responsibilities as any other Director. The manner of choosing the First Nations Director shall be at the discretion of the First Nations concerned.
